Welcome to Lampstand of Truth Publishing!
Trustworthy. Biblical. Dispensational.
“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
John 1:4-5 (NKJV)
LSOT Publishing is committed to producing trustworthy biblical books and articles—for all who seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of our lord Jesus Christ—premised from a traditional dispensational point of view. Rightly dividing the Word of God, in this way, helps us to understand God’s purpose throughout time and guides our core principles.
Our Core Principles
- The Bible is God’s inerrant, divinely-inspired revelation of Himself to humanity. As such, it contains no error or contradiction.
- The Bible tells us that believing exclusively in the purpose and work of Jesus Christ on the cross as an atonement for our sins is how a person becomes saved. Any good works that one does is the fruit of the ongoing sanctification process within a believer, not being any part of “earning” salvation itself.
- We do not believe in Replacement Theology, that is, that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plans. We believe that God has fulfilled and will continue to fulfill His every promise and prophecy regarding the physical nation of Israel and His chosen people, the Jewish people.
- The Kingdom of God is a future event, established solely by the might and power of Jesus at His second coming. We are not now, in part or full, experiencing the Kingdom of God on Earth. Any talk of doing “kingdom work,” “bringing in the kingdom,” or “already but not yet” regarding the kingdom, indicates a foundational misunderstanding of this matter.
- Our eschatology is consistently futurist and premillennial.
- We do not adhere to covenant or Reformed theology, ours is a traditional, Dispensational viewpoint.
- We in the church age are living under grace, not under the Mosaic Law. However, this understanding does not negate God’s eternal moral absolutes which are consistently presented throughout the Old and New Testaments. Christians are freed from the eternal penalty of sin but are still subject to its temporal consequences and the loss of fellowship with God that result from it.
- We oppose ecumenicalism, which necessarily de-emphasizes sound doctrine in order to promote unity under false teachings, ultimately leading to the coming one-world religion prophesied in Revelation Chapter 13.
Book Publishing and Blog Articles
Lampstand of Truth Publishing places special importance to works of sound biblical doctrine that agrees with our core principles. As a new publisher, we are excited to be building an inventory of original content (we will be throwing in some classic works too). Our books and articles will contain important theological topics, sound doctrinal principles, essentials of Christian living—including distinctions between justification and sanctification, issues affecting the church and a Bible-based Geo-political analysis of unfolding end-times events. At the present time, we are not accepting unsolicited submissions. If that changes, this section will be suitably revised.
